These cleaners are automated vacuum cleaners that make pool maintenance faster, easier and more convenient. Though in ground pool cleaners are available in various models and varieties, they are mainly divided into three categories; suction side, pressure side and robotic pool cleaners. 1. Suction side pool cleaners are powered by the pool's skimmer and filtration system. On running the filtration pump, suction at the bottom of the pool cleaner is created once water is pumped out of the pool. Debris is then sucked into the cleaner, into the skimmer and is filtered out of the water. As these cleaners are powered by the pool's filtration system, this is a cheap pool maintenance option.
